I am a research engineer with a fascination for history, art and technology. I like to read up on my country’s history and admire its natural and cultural heritage, but I write about advanced manufacturing and laser processing.

I spend my free time dabbling with digital illustrations and web design, while struggling getting websites up and running. I try to keep up with the latest development in academia by proofreading research papers and thesis of fellow researchers.

This site is started as medium for me to document and share my knowledge on research and technology, tips for postgraduate studies, my portfolio of digital illustrations (mostly colouring pages for kids) and maybe a few recipes on Malay foods.
